BA GUA ZHANG Tai Chi - Pakua Palm Form of the 8 Forces:
The shamanic dance was developed by Chinese healers about 5000 years ago and was later further developed by Taoist monks into the BA GUA ZHANG (Pakua Palm) form. In this shamanistic practice, false conditioning from childhood and socialization can be discharged and thus dissolved. To achieve this, the adepts had to learn to sense these conditionings from within and transform them through chi summoned in the form. In doing so, the monks realized that there were different energies that rose from the center of each person. Each of these energies served a specific purpose, which determines our emotions, thoughts, movements, and the interaction of the self. Emotions are meant to protect people and teach them not only to feel themselves, but also to interact with the complex existence of life. Practitioners could step through the Eight Gates and directly experience the eight forces of Ba Gua (Pakua)
Tai Chi for your Vitality:
The main movements of BA GUA ZHANG are performed with the joints & tendons. As a result, the muscles become elastic and loose, and the body becomes finer in its mobility. One practices in 8 cardinal directions, taking into account the sky and the earth. In the practice one develops a feeling for the 8 directions and thus develops a deep physical-spiritual balance. If in Tai Chi the nervous system is activated & blockages are dissolved, then the blood and the Chi in the body can circulate more freely among other things the blood more easily in our body. Health & pure heart strength become noticeable within & without.
Tai Chi - Healing:
In order to achieve self-healing, these energies must be recognized as thoughts, emotions and movements associated with us. The BA GUA ZHANG has been the ideal safe vehicle for seekers to realize these profound teachings. If one succeeds in transforming the burdening emotions, virtuous emotions become free to unite and develop compassion. Practitioners develop more skill, motivation and positive intentions to intervene in their lives. The meditative equivalent of the dynamic BA GUA ZHANG could be considered the FUSION of the 5 elements.
Tai Chi - the Goal:
Heart and mind are the main centers of our power. The "Tai Chi BA GUA ZHANG" is the original form of all flowing movements with beautiful hand movements. When our clear mind can open with the hands, the body works powerfully in all directions. Through this form, one achieves improved mental and physical centering, with a blissfully refreshed life energy.
